The room thermostat type COMPUTHERM Q3 with switching operation
 is suitable for controlling the vast majority of standard boiler and air conditioning systems. It can easily be connected to any gas boiler with a two-line room thermostat connection point or air conditioning, regardless of whether it has a 24V or 230V control circuit.
 Its digital display enables more precise temperature measurement and setting than traditional thermostats. Depending on the selected switching sensitivity, the thermostat switches the boiler or other device on or off below the set temperature in heating mode, and by ensuring comfort, it also helps to reduce energy costs. In cooling mode, the thermostat switches exactly the other way around.
 The switching sensitivity of the thermostat can be set to ± 0.1 ° C or ± 0.2 ° C (factory setting). This is to be understood as the temperature difference between the set temperature and the temperature actually measured when the device was switched on.
 When selecting a switching sensitivity of ± 0.2 ° C and in heating mode, eg when the value set on the thermostat is 20 ° C
 the device switches the boiler on at or below 19.8 ° C, or switches it off at or above 20.2 ° C. For the change in the factory-set switching sensitivity of ± 0.2 ° C, see Chapter 4.1.
