1.  What can the thermostat be used for?

-The COMPUTHERM T30 room thermostat was specially designed for controlling heating and cooling systems   developed. It is also suitable for controlling electrical and electronic devices that run through   Removal and reconnection of the power supply can be switched on and off.

2.  Which battery can the thermostat be used with?

-The device is operated with 2 1.5 V alkaline batteries (type LR03; size AAA) (ex works). Use only high quality alkaline batteries in the device. Other batteries that are described as long-life or long-life (e.g. conventional carbon-zinc batteries), discharged batteries or the use of rechargeable batteries is not suitable for the operation of the device.

3.  What is the expected battery life?

-The expected battery life with normal use is approximately 1.5-2 years.

4th  Which devices can be controlled with the T30 thermostat?

-The switch room thermostat COMPUTHERM T30 is suitable for controlling the vast majority of boilers and air conditioning systems on the EU  Market. It can be easily connected to any gas boiler with a two-wire room thermostat connection point as well as to any air conditioning system or other electrical devices, regardless of whether they have a 24 V or 230 V control circuit. The device can also be used to control any electrical and electronic device that can be switched on and off by removing and switching on the power supply.

5.  Do I need electricity to operate the devices?

-No. The thermostat requires 2 1.5 V alkaline batteries (type LR03; size AAA) (supplied).

6th   Where should the thermostat be placed?

-It is advisable to mount the thermostat on the wall of a regularly or permanently used room in such a way that it is in the direction of the natural air movement in the room, but is not exposed to drafts or extreme heat (e.g. solar radiation, refrigerator), chimney, etc. .). Do not use in damp, chemically aggressive or dusty environments. Its optimal position is 0.75-1.5 m above the ground.

7th  How can you connect?

-The device must be installed / commissioned by a competent person! The device to be controlled must be connected to the NO-COM connection points on the rear of the thermostat. For more information, see the product's instruction manual.

8th.  How can the devices be switched to air conditioning mode?

-To get to the change mode menu, press the On button for 2 seconds with the thermostat switched off. The thermostat opens the calibration menu, "Cal" and the set calibration temperature appears on the display. Then press the power button once. The thermostat then changes to the menu for switching between heating and cooling mode and the display shows "Fun" and "Hea" (factory setting). Use the + and - buttons to switch between the heating (Hea) and cooling (Coo) operating modes. Then wait 10 seconds to save the setting and exit, or press the power button twice. The thermostat is then switched off and the setting is activated by switching it on again. The closed state of the connection points NO and COM of the output relay is also indicated in heating and cooling mode by the display of the "Flame" symbol on the device display.

9.  What should I do if the thermostatic thermometer does not measure accurately?

-It is possible to calibrate the device's thermometer (to correct the measured room temperature). To access the calibration menu, the on / off button must be pressed for 3 seconds with the thermostat switched off. The thermostat calls up the calibration menu "Cal" and the set calibration temperature is displayed, which is 0.0 ° C by default. You can then use the + and - buttons to set the required calibration value in the range from -8 ° C to + 8 ° C in steps of 0.5 ° C. Then wait 10 seconds or press the power button three times to save the setting and exit. The thermostat is then switched off and the setting is activated by switching it on again.

10.  How can the devices be reset to the factory settings?

-To reset the thermostat to the factory settings, the on / off button must be pressed for 2 seconds with the thermostat switched off. The thermostat calls up the calibration menu "Cal" and the set calibration temperature is displayed, which is 0.0 ° C by default. Then press the power button twice. The thermostat then switches to the menu for resetting to the factory settings and the display shows "Rst". To reset to the factory settings, press the button for 3 seconds. The thermostat will then switch off and its settings will be reset to the factory settings.
