                                             Q3

  1.    What can the Computherm Q3 room thermostat be used for?

-The room thermostat COMPUTHERM Q3 was specially developed for the control of heating and cooling systems. It is also suitable for controlling electrical and electronic devices that can be turned on / off by removing and reconnecting the power supply.

   2.   What kind of battery can be used?

-The device works with 2 1.5 V alkaline batteries (type LR6; size AA). Only new alkaline batteries may be used in the device. Other batteries that are described as long-life or long-life (e.g. conventional carbon-zinc batteries) or the use of rechargeable batteries are not suitable for operating the device.

   3.   What does the BA symbol that changes between temperatures mean?

-This means the batteries are weak and need to be replaced.

4th   How do I switch it to climate mode?

-The jumper in the thermostat must be moved from the factory default position (Heat) to the cooling position (Cool).

    5.   What should I do if the devices can be switched on but the 230 V voltage does not appear?

-The device has potential-free (voltage-free) output connection points, so that by default the 230 V voltage is not applied to its outputs, but only closes the two connected wires or interrupts the connection between them. If a 230 V mains voltage is to be displayed at the output when the device is switched on, a mains phase cable must be connected to connection point 1 or 2 of the device according to the operating instructions. Before connecting, make sure that the phase phase is voltage-free and that the connection is carried out by a qualified person!

6th   How can I change the temperature?  (Displayed)

-Inside the thermostat there is an orange potentiometer that can be adjusted with a screwdriver. If the rotary knob is turned to the right, the displayed temperature changes after a short time to a higher temperature, if it is turned to the left, it changes to a lower temperature.
